October brides

Have all of you sent out Thank You's? Am I the only jerk who hasnt - I meant well I ordered the TY's - there somewhere on my dining room table

most of mine are out...like 90%...but I still have to finish for the 'straggler gifts' - I received a gift as recently as a couple of weeks ago.

my MIL called me rude because they weren't out before the holidays. she is overly aggressive. It was easier for me to write the damn TYs than to deal with her talking about how 'rude' DH and I are...

yup. all of mine are out. I banged them all out thanksgiving weekend b/c I had a few days off. I also made DH responsible for writing his side.

Damn I am officially a Jerk.I would of had them out the week after but I didnt have proper pics till feb. So now its just me being lazy/no time. I had a goal to send them out before BIL wedding feb.18 but now my goal is to send before they get theirs out - ::smh::


Edited to say Damn runnerbride you are smokin hot - (sorry colleen) but I dont know how you didnt win the body superlative

honesty, my trick was to type out the thank yous when i was on the train to work on my bb. i came up with a bunch of ways to say 'We are so appreciative of the generous wedding gift' and then I'd make sure to add a nice opening line and a closing line. I also was able to re-use some of the wording for people who were not at all related.

You'll get there. Give yourself a few to do each day. If you bucket people into groups you can mail those groups out once completed.

yes!! we had to wait 3 1/2 months to get our pro pics back, and then I had issues w/ ordering the actual thanks yous and had to return them, but this weekend we finally banged them out and I am dropping them in the mail today!

I literally wrote the same thing on everyone's card - whatever, I don't think they're comparing (esp DH's guy friends)!!!

Beccccaaaa do a combined thank you ... Lol I almost feel like callin people and goving them a verbal thank you... My shower thank yous were the bonb I cheesed it up real nice so hopefully i get pardoned

PS, since my thank yous were not ready in time for xmas, I sent xmas cards to my wedding invite list. Good thing tho... my grandma passed a week later I heard she was happy to get an xmas card from us.
