Ok seriously...how cute is this..

I am making a book for my dad's surprise 60th. I am having all my close relatives write about their favorite memory with my dad and then I am making a photobook out of it. So my DH finished his entry today...Here it goes...

'What really sticks out to me about Vick was my very first visit to New York meeting Val's family for the first time. This was a monumental event since it took about four years in the making and the nick name George Glass to boot. So here I am in Ny and after all the introductions were done and I got to see how the LaMattina family functioned, I decided to walk into the kitchen. There was Vick sitting down with a newspaper in hand, cup of coffee next to him and of course shirtless. I mustered up the courage to sit across from him and attempt to break the ice before asking him a very huge question. I told him that I loved his daughter and I'll do whatever I can to take care of her and I then proceeded to ask him for permission to marry his daughter. He kind of looked at me almost confused I mean after all I never met him before, been living with his daughter for four years and all of a sudden I am asking for permission. He did say yes didnt really have much hesitation. I in hindsight attribute this hesitation to Vick secretly believing he put one over me, after all I got stuck with Valerie. '

I had never thought to ask him the story of how he asked my dad! I know he did it while the girls in my family were our shopping for bridesmaid dresses for my older sisters wedding.

Awwww he is so cuteeeeeeeeee. I bet he totally stuttered, my dad can be kind of intimidating.
