Re: P90X workout program.... anyone out there that had results from t his?

I did this when I was trying to lose weight for the wedding. It's actually a great system and you'll definitely see results, but it's INTENSE. They expect you to do at least an hour of strenuous work-out a day.

ETA: As for results? I got burnt out really quickly on it. You really need to change your eating habits to compensate for all the extra calories you burn. After 3 weeks, I couldn't do it anymore and just started dieting and exercising regularly. I did notice some weight loss though and I definitely could FEEL myself getting stronger. I lost more weight and it stayed off longer using regular diet and exercise though. I guess it's just not for me.

DO IT DO IT DO IT! It will be the BEST investment you make...or at least one of the best!

The program is intense but they provide you with plenty of options in terms of modifications. YOU WILL SEE RESULTS!

Jill definitely makes an important point - you WILL have to change the way you eat and sleep. It is beyond intense and 90 days is a long time. You must eat A LOT. I started running out of steam...like I started to think I couldn't get through bc of exhaustion and muscle fatigue....I started drinking a protein shake at night and it really helped!

My husband wants me to send a success story picture in to Tony Horton! I didn't have much in the way of weight to lose but my body got more toned than EVER before....I legit had an 8 pack by the end!

Hmmmj maybe I'll try it again and use the protein shakes this time. It just feels SO counter-intuitive! But it's not like DH is using it. lol!
