Place to go out in NYC

Hey girls! Some friends (a couple) are visiting DH and I from out of town for one night and want to go out somewhere chill, for a few drinks, maybe some good music...nothing too rowdy but nothing too classy either. DH and I are new to Brooklyn and i have no idea where to take them here or out in manhattan. Any suggestions??

I love Cibar for chill drinks and the food is actually really good there too. It's in Union Square area. Really low-key, but still nice and chic. HTH!

ETA: I also like Blue Ribbon Bar and Tia Pol.

what part of brooklyn??? def either hit up bay ridge, williamsburg, or park slope. they all have different vibes, but you can find places to eat, drink, shop, lounge

sheepshead bay has some cute spots too...but its more QUIETTTT than the other places

Radegast Hall & Biergarten in Williamsburg. It's one of my favorite places in NYC.

Extensive beer list, great menus, a grill for stuff like burgers and sausages, amazing fries. Great vibe, even though it's in Williamsburg the skanky hipster count is on the low side. Live music some nights, too.

I like taking people to Yuca Bar in the East Village. We always order sangria (even though all their drinks are aawesome) and the pinchos variados
