potholes

They are seriously horrrible in my area. I forgot how bad they were when we were in California. The roads over there are so smooth!! And when there is a teeny bump or gravel in the road, they post a sign that says 'rough road'. If they had that here, there'd be a sign on every street!

its sooo bad. i have a mustang and hit one the other day and thought i poped the tire. it was soo bad.

they are everywhere too. maybe next year they wont put sooo much salt down.

i drive a company car for work and i had my interim manager with me last week...i hit a monster pothole in the bronx dead on at about 45 mph and the guy bit his tongue. my car felt like it was about to break in half. oopps.

DH just got a flat and busted his rim last night. awesome. he said there's now a cone in the pothole and saw 2 hubcaps and 3 cars pullled over with hazards changing tires on the way home. oh boy.

If any of these potholes are in the 5 boroughs of NYC - please report them so they can be filled.
NYC DOT has a website that you can report any potholes to be filled

Believe it or not, DOT fixes most potholes withint 5-6 days. But the weather has been really messing up the streets. That's why Cali has such nice roads - no slow plows!
