QOTD Sept 3

Hi ladies

Now that Fall is just around the corner, talk has moved to holidays and where to spend them.....

So what is your favorite holiday?

Mine is Thanksgiving because the focus is just on hanging with family and food....and shopping on Friday morning! No pressure on spending money, gifts, etc

My favorite holiday is Christmas Eve...coming from a big Italian family, we make the seven fish dinners and eat for almost 10 hours with tons of family members and lots of laughs!!!

The first year my DH came to Christmas Eve dinner, he sat next to my mom and I told him to pace himself...he didnt make it to dessert He ended up passing out in my old bedroom literally in a food coma! He's now learned to NOT sit next to mom (who just keeps refilling his plate) and to definitely pace himself because dessert is another great part of being Italian!!

4th of July. I LOVE the summer. I love BBQs.
Christmas is a close second. But it comes in second because I hate the winter

Thanksgiving is an awesome time for my family. We have 3 birthdays to celebrate, and everyone is always in such a good mood. It's the only holiday that is just my immediate family. Christmas, Easter and 4th of July all of my uncle's inlaws come to, and we rarely get to spend time with each other. I'm excited for this year because we'll have our wedding video back by then, so it'll be the first time we all see it

Yay! Have Internet back!!! Ok so to my answer.... I love christmas day bc I LOVE watching my nieces open gifts :)
