queens gals: have you ever been to aldi in rego park yet?

was just there last night and was surprised how relatively cheaper the cost of most their items are! a bunch of asparagus for $1.99, Graham Crackers for $1.19... 12pack ramen soup for $1.79... meats are inexpensive too!

it's my new fave grocery place!!!

btw, they don't do plastic shopping bags, you have to bring your own bag which sucks but i guess... earth-friendly!

no, it's in that new center in Rego park, close to BBQs.

it does! most are no-name brands (i think it's their own) BUT I've heard of nothing but good things about it. ex. Maxwells Cappuccino are about $3+, their own version (which tastes better) is just $1.70!

I was going to go on Monday but didn't want to deal with Queens Blvd. Have you been there on the weekends? If so, is it a madhouse?

Don't you know everything in Queens is a madhouse on the weekends?

That place before Aldi's was there is crazy. I can't imagine how bad it would be on a weekend.

welll..... the girl at the registrar told me it's a madhouse on weekends... so i guess your better off going on a weekday.
