rug + stool/ottoman thing

my new rug finally arrives today and I've been so excited about it all week. I've actually been so excited about it that its a little weird haha

we will still have a bunch of space in the entryway...I got an over the door shoe bag for our hall closet that is right near the front door...

I'm thinking about getting this ottoman thingy bc it is the perfect width and it will give us a place to put shoes on. it can also serve as extra seating when we have people over

Should I just leave the open space or put something on the walls or does this look cute?

if you dont already have a place to sit to put shoes on, i would def get that. its important to have a place to actually put on/off the shoes without toppling over

mini pic of the shoe bag added! It hangs on the inside of the closet door so you can only see if when the door is open...

I would do something more similar to this, so you have not only the ottoman/extra seating/place to put your shoes on, but also some extra storage:

i like the idea...especially because dave is always struggling to put his shoes on ... it cracks me up lol

but honestly i dont know if i like the stool? maybe a leather one?

i agree with laura!! i dont like the wicker thing. it kinda cheapens the rug.

BBB has 'leather' cubed ottomans.. its actual 2 in 1 GREAT for storage. i put my ninja turtle snuggie in it. 50$ +20%off coupon = 40$
