s/o If you were a bajillionaire

where would you live?

Where do you live now?

I live in Queens. I have no idea where I would live but I'd definitley have a palace out east for the summertime which I would get to with my helicopter

Re: s/o If you were a bajillionaire

live in northern queens. moved from brooklyn. really loved brooklyn.

if i was a bajillionaire and transportation wasnt an issue (which is partly, i feel, the reasons why we pick where to live), id probably live on the south shore of NYC. like howard beach.

howeverrrr....its a pain to get to and the A train takes foreverrrrr

ORRRR

if i had to stick in queens, fresh meadows has really pretty houses.

years ago i definitely would have said dyker heights, brooklyn. . but i dont really see myself there anymore. and its an area about competition and outdoing your neighbors. i can deal with that.

Re: s/o If you were a bajillionaire

I think I'd stick to Queens, there are some really beautiful houses in 'historic' north flushing near Bowne park.

I'd DEF buy a few pieces of property though. Maybe a condo in Miami and Hawaii.

DH says if he ever won the lotto, he'd move to Hawaii and become a scuba instructor.
I don't think I could ever really move that far away

Re: s/o If you were a bajillionaire

I would need a house in the outer banks, NC...I house in Florence Italy and than maybe some rediculous overpriced house either our East or North Shore. I don't ask for much!

Re: s/o If you were a bajillionaire

Currently live in Amityville...

If I had a unlimited funds... I'd have several small places in different areas:

One in this area - but on the water (as 3/4 of our family is with in 2 miles)

One in the outer banks of NC - close to my sisters

A small apartment in Paris

And a place in the caribbean - St Thomas or St. Lucia (or both!)

Re: s/o If you were a bajillionaire

I'd buy one of those giant houses right on the water in Long Beach... and probably a few vacation homes too

right now I live in a teeny tiny apartment in a bungalo in LB so that'd be a nice change, but I def wouldn't leave the area.
