sinful french toast

i got this recipe for my shower and made it this morning for the first time - its aaaaaaaahmazing!

i made it just for DH but it would be great for when you have company over / brunch bc its made in a 9x13 casserole dish

melt 1 stick of butter and pour into bottom of 9x13 dish

add 3/4 c (i used 1/2) brown sugar and 1 tsp of cinnamon

mix butter, sugar, and cinnamon

add 12 pieces of white bread (i used brioche mmmmmmmm) by layering (the slices of brioche were really big so i did 3 layers of 4 slices)

in a seperate bowl mix 5 eggs and 1.5 cups of milk

pour mixture over bread

bake for 25 mins @325 and an extra 5 mins @ 350

cut into 1/2 slices and serve upside down!

ENJOY!!!

YUM. French Toast is a fave of mine and we're going to be having lots of company staying with us in May, so it's good to have a few of these up my sleeves! Thanks!
