So this guy walks into a bar...

Some of you might've noticed a couple of my FB status updates about this.

Saturday afternoon, I was at an event at Paddy Reilly's for a grassroots organization called Team McCready - it's a org' that does a benefit at the end of March every year with music, raffles, auctions, and all the money collected goes toward a different charity that Mike McCready, PJ's guitarist, is involved with. This year the money collected went to Advocacy for Patients with Chronic Illness. McCready battles a chronic illness - Crohn's Disease - so the funds from these events always go to something near and dear to his heart.

So. Three o' clock on a Saturday afternoon in NYC, event is in full swing and....

MIKE MCCREADY WALKS THROUGH THE DOOR TO JAM WITH ONE OF THE BANDS ON THE BILL.

Speedy Fkn McCready himself!!!!!

Amazing. He stayed for close to an hour, playing on a stage that is literally about the size of two coffee tables.

Too cool. We knew he was in town (we were all heading to a show he was playing that night - not with PJ, with a side act) but weren't sure if he would show up.

Here's a lil pic I took! You can see how freakin' tiny the place was...I swear, there were maybe 75 people there?

CRAZINESS.
