Sooo I've been married 6 weeks AND...

DH lost his wedding band. He lost it on a 5 mile bike ride. God knows where it is.

If it makes you feel any better, my DH lost his wedding band the NEXT DAY in the BEER DISTRIBUTOR.

We hadn't even been married 24 hours!

Fortunately, I bought him a cheap ring (because I predicted this) and they actually found it and returned it. Did you have insurance?

Sorry to hear that. I understand the emotional value. On the bright side: Men's bands are usually not too pricey, and it'll make a good story.

sorry to hear! i am sure you can get a new one in no time...

my dh's ring is actually too big. he wore it for a week and now it's just sitting there. he says he is nervous to lose it so he needs to have it re sized

Oh no!

DH actually lost 15 lbs since the wedding, and we brought the band in to be resized a week ago. We didn't like him being without, so I went to the epmloyee store and got him a simple band for $25...so at least he has a backup, now!
