Soundgarden post got me thinking...

What band would you pick to tour this summer? AND, you could get whatever seats you wanted!

Realistic or not (as in - even if the band is no longer together, etc)....

ETA: I didn't answer my own question!

I'd pick The Smiths I've seen Morrissey solo a few times and he played a bunch of their stuff but I would just be blown away by the real deal.

Oooh I'd love to see The Smiths.

But I'd have to say...if it's a dead-or-alive option...Nirvana. ETA: or Queen.

If it's just a re-grouping thing, then Soundgarden (!) or Zeppelin. DH and I literally have money set aside for a Zeppelin reunion.

Realistic option is Pearl Jam. I'll see them anytime. And I'll be seeing them this summer, once the fkn announce things.

I saw them a few years ago and I'm looooooooove to see them again.

Their new album came out, hopefully they put together a tour.

Ohhhh I LOVE the beasties!

DH and I were supposed to see them a couple of years ago in Liberty State Park but they cancelled last minute due to health issues. Jay-Z filled in. At first we were like but we ended up having a BLAST with the HOVA. H to the izzo.

I remember that, but what seemed like a sore throat turned into MCA having throat cancer.

He's ok now, thank goodness! I wonder if they'll do a regular tour though since it might not be a good idea for him to strain himself so much.
