Story i just remembered thanks to Jill

So Jess & Jill posted about having adjacent rooms on Jess's family cruise ... Jill mentioned she'd be louder than usual when DTD just to annoy people ... that reminded me:

DH and I were on a family cruise (with his family) in December. On the day we boarded, while we were waiting for our luggage to be delivered to the rooms, MIL & FIL came by to say hi

FIL says: 'oh - i see the bed is messy ... i guess you guys had fun'

MIL responded with 'leave them alone, they're adults and they're newlyweds'

i just couldn't believe FIL said something like that (though he's ALWAYS inappropriate so it really shouldn't have been such a surprise)

I don't think I ever told you what happened while I was away on my HM did I?

I used to work for Passion parties, so I had a luggage bag full of bedroom toys.

FIL was watching our cats, and one of them jumped on the bag and it started vibrating. FIL thought it was a lawnmower (yeah, in december). FIL follows the noise right into the bag.

later that night, he brings MIL and asks if I'm part of some kinky cult. MIL knew what they were for and knew I wasn't using them (she was ok with that for some reason, and besides, don't you think the toys I use are somewhere hidden in the bedroom? those are displays...).

He proceeds to tell me about these findings at christmas in front of everyone. FIL thinks I'm a freak.

Something similar happened to us on the first cruise I went on with them, too. DH's aunt requested to switch rooms with us, when she came down to our room, the beds were already pushed together and the sheets messed up. She still traded rooms though!
