Stuff to do in Astoria?

DH & I are going to Astoria on Friday night with another couple. What's some fun stuff to do/good restaurants to eat in? We're not really into going to a crowded/cramped bar though. TIA!

THE BEER GARDEN (I personally like the newer one)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also a friend of mine works at Ditmar's Station (also serves food) if you're into beer it's almost like an ale house. McCann's is good too and they have AMAZING foo!

It is going to be so nice on Friday! You should go to the beer gardens.

Mojave is a good restaurant as well as Ornella (italian), Stamatis (greek) and Wave Thai, all in walking distance to the Beer Gardens.

That's exactly what I was going to say! That whole area on Steinway Street is bustling- the movie theater is there, Uno's, shopping, there's plenty to do.
