stupid weight chart
so someone just sent me one of those height/weight charts that basically told me I was overweight.5'3 and I wear a size 4 but I'm overweight. really? I want to cry.
This is why girls have eating disorders.... stupid charts.

I KNOWWW!! My friend has lost 25 lbs and is down to 118 and the chart says she still needs to lose 8 more to be healthy.

OMG! I'm sorry but what chart has to be completely wrong! I understand how some people are considered 'skinny fat' - where they are thin but don't have a lot of muscle, or a higher body fat percentage. But that's out of control! Probably designed to drive girls into the diet industry even more than they already are...

those charts are RIDICULOUS! i'm in the exact same boat you are but i wear a size 6! only in never never land are WE overweight. i refuse to believe it!

what always drives me crazy about these charts is completely ignoring the dif type of bodies that are out there

I am obese on that chart... Really can't beat yourself up over that. Everyone is built differently. A size 4 is not overweight.

so she's going to be 108 lbs because the chart says so.

urghh because she sent it to me to prove to me that she needs to be 108 in order to be healthy. The chart literally says its for women living in 1958...
but whatever, if thats what she wants to look at then to each his own. Just didnt like how it made me feel bad about myself in the process.
