Thank you cards

How long is it taking/did it take you to finish your thank you cards?

I swear this process is taking me FOREVER. I hate writing them! I also made the mistake of getting 5x7 cards with a HUGE white space. My hand cramps even thinking of them.

I have 4 more tables to go until these bad boys are done. Hoping to get them done this weekend and then I'll be able to send them out on Monday. Today's my 5 month mark.

I have only written about 15 or so. I'm hoping to get them done in the next two weeks. Although now I feel like they are going to get mixed in with xmas cards.

We sent ours out in Sept I believe, but you have 6 months to send them :)

i did my half in one weekend...i just zipped through them. DH has not done his yet though...

i'm done w/ my set but DH still has 30 to go. We started in late sept and still going. we made the big mistake of ordering the 5x7 also!

I made DH do his work buddies. He agreed to do them, his mom, grandma and godmother. The rest are all me. Boys get off easy with all wedding-related things!

THIS... I mentioned it to MIL she went on about how the woman should be proud to handle things like remembering birthdays, send gifts / cards, etc.

It was a battle I almost chose, but then the image flashed in my head of someone opening a TY and seeing 'Thank U for bieng part of our Big day' in DH's graffiti-ish handwriting... that shut me right up!

I just ordered mine (and not fully satisfied) because I keep hearing that I'm pushing the 'rude' limit ...

I finished mine in three weeks because I couldn't stand having them hang over my head. I did them all because no one would be able to read them if my DH did them...if handwriting was an indication of professions, he definitely should have been a doctor!

ETA: I sent them out at the end of September and our wedding was the end of July...so two months but we didn't go with ones from the photographer.

I finished mine in a week and a half. A lot were easy and some were harder to do, but I tried to stay focused. Also, I printed labels so I didn't have to hand write all the addresses out!
