this bothers me

this bothers me,
we went to a friends wedding last year and gave a gift.
they couldnt come to ours but sent no gift no card. they didnt even rsvp when they knew dmn well they were going to be on a cruise.
do you think thats rude.
i do. every time i see her i get annoyed.
if you couldnt make a wedding but they came to yours and gave a gift would you send something

yeah i'd be very annoyed ...

it's one thing if she was still single and didn't know about wedding etiquette ... but she JUST went through the whole wedding planning thing!!!

we went to two weddings two years ago
gave them both a nice friggin envelope
they both rsvp no. that didnt piss us off. one had a close family wedding to go to the other was about to pop out her first baby in days.

WHAT PISSED ME OFF IS THAT THEY DIDNT SEND US SHIIIITTTT!!!!!!!

im not friends with her but my friends are and she came to lunch with us the other day. i had no idea she was coming imm going to tell my friends the next time she comes tell me so i wont show up.

That is very rude.

People do not even try to save face. Sheesh. This isn't a backyard BBQ, its a wedding. By far the most important day in a couples life.

we had a similar situation and it makes me so mad.

we went to a wedding on a Friday for one of DH's friends in Philly. So we had to take a day off, travel to philly, pay for a hotel, and we gave a very nice gift.

our wedding comes around less than a year later. They didnt even RSVP. We had to hunt them down 2 weeks later and they told us they couldnt make it. No gift. No card. Nada....
