Travel question

Ladies who have gone to Costa Rica:

What region did you go to, where did you stay and how did you get there from the airport. One of my concerns about Costa Rica is how far many popular destination are from the San Jose airports.

ive only been from a cruise ship, sorry. but i would post some info on the vendor board. cuz when i was first considering HM locations, one of the travel agents on this site gave me a lot of info about costa rica!

We stayed at Tabacon in Arenal Volcano area for part I of our HM. We fell in looooovvvveeeee. Absolutely the most AMAZING place that I have ever been!!

It was 3hrs by cab (private van), from San Jose Airport and we made 1 stop along the way. Totally worth it!!

The town outside of our resort was great! We felt so safe, even at night. So many restaurants (which were so much cheaper than our fancy schmancy resort). And the food... sooooooooo friggen good!!! The local cabs were reliable.

Listen, I can't say enough fabolous things about this place.

We DEFINATELY will go back one day!!!!
