TY note question

If someone brought a random date to the wedding do you address the thank you to them as well?

What if his/her name wasn't on the card?

if it was a random (no name on the card or listed as 'and guest' on the invite) i would just thank the person you invited

if the name was on the card then just write it on the card to be nice

hmm if you don't know their name, i wouldn't. i'm sure that date don't see the ty card anyways

A friend brought a random date and I just addressed the TY to him and not his date. Thank goodness I did bc I kept referring to her as Tara and her real name was Sara...totally heard him wrong when he introduced her to me at the wedding
