What has everone done or doing....?

I'm trying to decide if I should buy the bridal party a group picture from the wedding or not. My MIL says that when she was in a bridal party (30+ years ago!!!) that they received a picture from the newlyweds. We never considered this until she opened her mouth. I feel that I bought a lot of gifts for the bridal party. If I would have known we were 'supposed' to give pictures, I would have cut down on some of the gifts! Just wanted to know what everyone else is doing or done??? She's like, let me know what you guys decide to do.

Our photographer included 5x7 bridal party pictures. But if I could do it over again, I would not have given them. I would have just added more to my album.

It's definitely not required, at as far as I know, a lot of couples do not give them.

Good idea Kate

You can scan and print photos these days that look like the real Mc Coy once they're framed! Same holds true for a real good color copy.

If you receive the negatives, you can always take them to a lab and have them printed. So long as the neg doesn't need cropping, you can get an 8x10 for $10!
