What is DH getting

For Valentines Day? My DH does not like chocolate but I do want to get him something nice since it is our first Valentines Day as a married couple.

I found this awesome set of notecards for the week....I'm going to set it up as like a 'coupon of the day' type thing...redeemable whenever he chooses.....i.e. a lavish home cooked meal of his choice, knicks tickets (the cheap ones haha), a massage, etc etc etc.....

V-Day is on a Monday. Otherwise I wouldn't even see DH because he works nights every other night except, Monday, Saturday and Sunday. If it were on a Thursday, I would be at one of your houses taking notes...

We stopped gifting on Valentines day. We do go out for a nice dinner though. I do always make him buy me a mushy card...and vice versa!

I'm going to try to make a nice dinner for him. If that doesn't work then we'll go out to eat, or do both lol.

He'll also get a card (if I remember ) and happy times lol.

We haven't even talked about it.

On the 11th, we're going to Mohegan to see Linkin Park (One of his XMas gifts from me), but he might have to work late on V-day b/c it's tax season

We both think it's kind of a stupid holiday and never really paid much attention to it.

We do exchange cards, usually. But we're not into the overblown flowers/gifts/fancy restaurant thing. Don't get me wrong, I do like those things...but not because the calendar tells me I should on a particular day.
