What is DH up to? - UPDATE
So tonight is the Rangers playoff game. I said to DH 'well I guess we'll be watching the game for my birthday' and he said 'I have it covered'. Then yesterday I told him 'what time should I come home from work' and he said 'leave at 4, stay the overtime'. Then I just text him and said 'I'm thinking of leaving soon, will I mess anything up?' He writes back 'kinda...text me when you're DEF leaving and we'll figure something out.'What the hell is he doing in the apartment? He's on furlough still so he's been home all day. The apartment's all clean so that's not it (although that would be a nice surprise if it wasn't). He could be making dinner but everything is frozen and he didn't take anything out. He's been up to it since 10AM this morning. It's like he's building a d*mn house! I can't wait to go home and see what the heck is going on! PLUS, my SIL told me 'you got the BEST birthday gift' and he told me too but I have no idea what it is! I haven't been allowed to open any of the mail all week! I HATE WAITING TO FIND OUT!!!!

UPDATE:
First...thank you girls for the birthday wishes here and on Facebook...I DEF felt the love!
Now, I got home yesterday from work and there was DH in the kitchen cooking with everything everywhere! (He's a messy cook) We had chicken parm with spagetti and his homemade sauce. The table we set, wine was chilling, and there were flowers in a vase on the table. He handed me his gift and he gave me tickets to see the Addams Family on Broadway.
Now, a little background is DH has NEVER been to a Broadway play and I have been begging him to start going to them! My parents got me Million Dollar Quartet tickets and I had to twist his arm to come with us (my parents are going too - this coming Saturday). So it was above amazing that he got these tickets and is willing to start going to more plays. He told me it's Memorial Day Weekend so he was thinking of getting a hotel in the city for the weekend, see the play, be tourists in the city, and have a nice dinner before the play. It was truly the best gift!
I fell asleep after I had my food coma and at about 8:30 (between 1st and 2nd period of the Rangers game) Franky woke me up to a birthday cake. I DEF didn't think I was going to get one. He made my birthday perfect. It was the first time in 28 years that I have not been with my parents on my birthday and it was amazing! Nothing crazy but it was just low key as I wanted it!

Well I have no idea what he's up to, but those Rangers had better win, especially because its your birthday.I hope its a great night for you!!!!

Barb and Catey - I wish it was a puppy but we're not allowed puppys in our apartment
However, it would be nice to have my Avery back from my in-laws...Carey - HAHA! I wouldn't doubt it! I'll probably go home to a flag hanging from our balcony!
