I just resigned - it wasn't easy and wasn't pretty (my manager started asking what he could do to keep me and I started to cry

)......

I now work for ESPN!!! ::dream job::

I'll be on W66 and CPW/Columbus so I will be around for city g2gs!!!!!!!

WAHHHOOOOOOOO!!!

First of all - CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Second - Just keep it all business. He may be new, but sadly, that not your issue. End things on the positive, leaving the door open for a positive relationship with the company in the future, should you need a reference or to make another connection.

It's always an uncomfortable conversation, but once you have it, you'll have such a sense of relief!

Thanks guys! I will post details as soon as I officially resign! I am SO thrilled and worked really hard to get this job...

I need to just focus on the advice you guys have given...this is a GOOD, exciting thing! I'm going to keep it professional and that is all I can do!
