Xbox Kinect

Hey ladies!!!

Do any of you have an Xbox Kinect?? We have an Xbox, so I was thinking about maybe getting the kinect for DH as one of his Christmas gifts (everything I've gotten him so far is BO-RING). Once upon a time we talked about getting a wii, but we have this practically brand new Xbox and I don't really want to buy ANOTHER gaming system.

Thoughts?!? Does it s*ck??

Definately don't get the Wii. We got it but barely use it because hubby is a HD snob, and the quality on it SUCKS. We want to get a Kinect and I've heard awesome things about it, so def do that!

DH bought it for me last Christmas--it is very cool and I used it a lot when we first got it, but then it kind of fizzled out. I only use it like once every couple of months. But aren't most things like that anyway?

But it is really cool...I wish there were more games!

I would say it's a cool gift though! And even better--there are some fun dance games and a zumba game that you could use yourself

Do you know if it works for like any Xbox? Are there even different types of Xboxes?? This just shows you how much I use this thing. I probably played World of Warcraft once before.

I'm pretty sure it does! DH had a really old xbox and it worked fine...and he just bought a new one and it works fine with that too.

although i dont play it that often, im glad i got it! but make sure the room with the xbox has space to dance around and good lighting. otherwise some of the games take forever to calibrate correctly.

DH got it for me this xmas...we've been playing it early. He let me open it after having a really cruddy day. I love how you can use voice command and your hands as the controller when i dont feel like getting up to find it. Im really happy i convinced him to get it :)

But do make sure you have a ton of space to use it for dance games.

Get it!! It's so much fun. We play the dance game and we have a sports one and I want to get zumba. It's much better than the wii because you don't need a remote and just use the movement of your body
