Real Long Island Wedding: Samantha and Pat

Samantha and Patrick met on a date in Manhattan, so naturally for their engagement session they chose the spot of their first date, and then finished it with a trip to the Conservatory Garden in Central Park, a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city.
A year later, Sam and Pat were married at The Boathouse on Shelter Island. A beautifully-secluded venue accessible by a very simple ferry ride, it's set on 18 acres of land and overlooks West Neck Harbor. The Boathouse can accommodate up to 200 guests and offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for events. The indoor space is a large, open-floor concept with a high ceiling and plenty of natural light. The outdoor space features a large patio with stunning views of the harbor—which was perfect for a very picnic-like cocktail hour and some stunning portraits.
Despite a bit of rain early in the day, the weather cleared and the entire event went beautifully. The couple danced the night away with their friends and family, and topping the night off with a classic ice cream truck was a hit with everyone. It was a truly unforgettable day.
