Yellow cake with raspberry white chocolate filling. That ribbon is burgundy taffeta that looks black because of the oils in the icing. Yes, I did ask the baker if the ribbon I picked was ok, no, she never told me that would happen. If you want your new husband looking less disheveled in the cake cutting pic, do a mock cut ahead of the reception. And we have no idea why his mother is lurking in the background instead of being in front with the other guests.

Re: 07 Ladies post YOUR cake!
Just realized I never added my cake- probably because it wasn't exactly how I wanted it.
It should have been ALL navy ribbon- not baseballs.
I wanted classy, not cute or theme-y! UGH. I do love the Yankee Stadium facade lacing on the cake though.

It didn't exactly look the way I wanted it to, but it was made of rainbow cookie so it was alright by me!

Mine was from Woodbury Country Club and it was a vanilla cake with strawberry mouse. We had the Viennese hour so I didn't want to go outside for a wedding cake which we were originally going to do but our cake was really good! These are non-pro pics:
