without a doubt, it's enough time!

just start looking at reception halls and get your date as soon as possible!

Re: 12 months long enough to plan a wedding?

I did mine in 10 & 1/2 and we didn't really do much expet book the hall in the first 2 months because of the holidays.
The only thing that was though was the first 2 photogrpahers I considred were booked & since it was a holiday weekend, my options for hotel blocks were limited.

It was the perfect amount of time for me, I would have gone crazy waiting any longer!

Re: 12 months long enough to plan a wedding?

It can absolutely be done. I got engaged on Sept 24, 2004 and our wedding is July 9, 2005.

As someone already said, just make sure you get moving on you wedding gown soon since that can take a while to come in.

Best of luck!
