16 Days

I just stumbled unto this web site the other night and wish I found it sooner. I have 16 days to go! I am getting married on St.Patrick's day! I have to deal with something I hope no bride has to go thru - I broke my leg a month ago and will have a cast on the day of my wedding!! Its from my toes to my upper thigh! So, girls don't wish for good weather, that your hair comes out good, or that your best man will have a good speech... wish for good health and no broken bones! I am already thinking about how I am going to miss the craziness of planning, but am sooooo excited about our big day! Crutches & all!

But in Villa's defense: I just booked my wedding there for 2002 and the banquet manager I dealt w/ Ken, was wonderful. I first went to see him in Nov. '99 at which time he quoted me a price of a little over $100 guarenteeing a bit over 200 for a Sat night in June 2002. When my finance and I went back there last Friday, he was very accomodating. He was pleased that we had taken our time and checked out other places. Both of our visits lasted over an hour and he was very helpful and informative.

They dont' mess around at Villa. They know what they can get for their hall and they don't "sweeten the deal". Ken was very upfront with us that what he was offereing us was the bottomline with little room to negotitiate. I respected him for his honesty and candor.

all the best of luck to you. i have been using this website for about 3 months and it has been so helpful and informative. you are absoulutely right about not worrying about weather. did you have to have your dress altered differently to fit over the cast??

By the way - I noticed you chose Full House for your band - I was also interested in them. If possible could you please forward me any info. you may have or any recommendations for other bands. Thanks!!!

Avoid the hassle and stay away. Anyone know a good favor store?

Oh Good Luck. Dont worry you will have the luck of the Irish with you on your wedding day. Hope you are feeling better??? This website is great so as the big day gets closer keep in touch and let us know how you are doing. Take Care.

This might sound outrageous but check Payless Shoes. A friend of mine got her bridal shoes there (they were plain but very cushiony) as well as her bridal party and they took them elsewhere to have them dyed.

I am all for wearing Keds. But no one else agrees with me. Good Luck.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU. YOU MUST BE SOOO EXCITED. I DISCOVERED THIS SITE ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO AND THE INFORMATION HAS BEEN SO GREAT. bEST OF LUCK.KEEP UP POSTED UP UNTIL THE BIG DAY.

We used Designer and LOVED them!! Delt with kenny and had no problems. Had the complimentary limo rides too :) I've learned that sometimes you have to go with your gut and not listen to anyone else. Someone's always gonna have something bad to say *wink-wink* I think you'll be very happy with them.......

Thanks.
