we're having two, because it's important for me to have a photographer with FH while he is getting ready. however, i think it depends on what your needs are and who the photographer is. lina jang for example works with an assistant and usually takes somewhere in the ballpark range of 1300-1500 pictures--which is more than both of my photographers combined! and her work is amazing!

We are having 2. One film and one doing digital. Both will shoot whatever type of shots we want (photojournalism or traditional).

We are having 2- a 'traditional' & a photojournalist. We are also having a lighting assistant.

Most of the photographers I am interested in are by themselves with an assistant, shooting in photojournalistic style. They are all capable of shooting more traditional portraits as well. I think if your photog has a varied enough style and has an assistant there's no need to have 2. JMO.

wow, i never thought about having 2, i am having about 150 so i guess i should look into that. has anyone had len marks? i met him at a bridal showcase last week and he seemed great. i dont know who to get

We're having one and an assistant. Our photographer shoots regular and photojournalistic photos. Oh and we're having about 130 people at the reception so I think 1 should be fine.
