At this point I think it would be a complete waste of energy for Hillary to run - and this from someone who would vote for her! She doesn't stand a CHANCE. My political science professor said the other night that the first female president will be a Republican. Makes sense.

I once heard that the mayor of New York never wins the presidential election, and if Guiliani runs, I hope that holds true because I don't like him.

I thought Lieberman should have been on the ticket this election, I think he was a much better candidate for the democratic party. I'd love to see him run in the next election, but I think his religion will work against him.

I agree with those who said they would like to see Lieberman run. He is the first politician I have actually liked in a really long time. Unfortunately, his religion will work against him. I am not a big fan of Hillary's, and I don't think there's much chance she would win the Democratic ticket if she did run in the primaries.

I don't think the Dem party would even put up Hillary as a candidate because I think that they will want to do the best they can to get a Dem back into the WH after 8 years of Republican rule
They know that won' happen with Hillary.

I would love to see a woman president but NOT Hillary Clinton. Truthfully, I think she's too egotistical to run - she's not a stupid woman and has to know how terrible the odds are against her even getting the nomination, nevermind the presidency. I don't think she does much that she's not damn certain she will do very well.

As far as Guiliani goes, whether he runs or not, he'd never get the nod IMO. I would wager a large sum that it will be McCain for the Republicans.

I'd love to see Obama at least try for the Democratic ticket. I think Leiberman will try as well and I don't think we've seen the last of Dean.

I like Hilary, but there is no way she is going to run. People are too polarized when it comes to Hil, they either love her, or hate her, no real inbetween.

The Democrats will most likely pick someone from the middle of the country, or the south (if there are any Dems left down there). I would keep an eye on Tom Vilsak the Gov. of Iowa, or Bill Richardson, the Gov. of New Mexico. I'd love to also see Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware, but he speaks his mind too much, so that won't work. Plus, during the last 50 something years, a Senator hasn't been elected president. They often serve long terms in the Senate which require changes in voting habit to reflect the changes in the country, hence Kerry being called a flip-flopper, whereas Gov's don't have a voting record to hold against them.
I'd also love to see Obama, but he is too new to National Politics. I do believe he will be our first minority President, but it won't be for quite a while.

On the Rep. side look for John McCain, and (help us all) Bill Frist.

Sorry this is a bit long, but I am very passionate about this stuff.
