why dont you buy his house?

too far out east
too many memories- I can barely go in there anymore

edited- he offered- at a very low price- but I would rather see him sell it- no one will want to visit us there- no one in my family wants to be in the house ( it was the only house we ever lived in)

I got you. Same with my parents house in Lynbrook. They sold it in 04. It needed a lot of work, and the taxes were almost $10k. We had great memories there, but now that my mom is gone I could never see myself living there or going there again
