I am so sorry for all of you ladies who don't have your dresses so close to your weddings! My heart goes out to you. It is stressful enough as it is planning these damn weddings and no one needs the added stress of no dresses. My stress right now is my BM not fitting in their dresses. i think they were either measured wrong or the designer cut the dresses way to small b/c 3 of the girls dont fit in their dresses. I am hoping they can let them out. Keep us updated on your situations. We will all be keeping our fingers crossed.

My one BM calls to schedule her fitting dresses aren't in yet.

UPDATE 8/12/08
Get two calls on my cel phone w/in 5 minutes from my bridal salon. No message but I got concerned and immediately call back. When they answer my call here is the convo:

1. 'Megan when is your wedding date?' As I almost fall off my effin chair I calmly state 9/27/08

2. 'How many BM's do you have?' We only have info on 3 and thought you had more.....

As they go through the list of names, they were missing my sister!!!!!!!! NOW MIND YOU THAT MY ENTIRE BRIDAL PARTY WAS MEASURED AND PAID IN FULL FOR THEIR GOWNS 3/8/08

3. 'Do you happen to know her measurements?' I actually had her receipt with them written on so I was able to tell her.

I asked them if the other gowns were ordered, she wouldn't give me a straight answer...only that they should know better by tomorrow when they will arrive.


I honestly don't think they even ordered any of the gowns and when my one BM called to schedule her fitting, they realized what happened and decided to call me b/c they could not find my sister's info.

45 days.....W T F am I going to do OR what should I do if they can't get them in time

dont know who your using but not for nothing sounds like Davids Bridal where I had my girsl get their dresses. What a nightmare!!!!!! Never agian would I ever go there or reccomend them. They are such morons.
Needless to say so far everything seems to be working out. I am sure you will get your issue solved. Worse case and trust me when I say worse case, Davids bridal does have off the rack options they can all buy last minute. (I had all mine ordered from there some girls in other states which caused a major issue) maybe there not so bad to just buy off the rack and go home ya know!!!

The salon is in PA so no worries of them being someone affilated w/ LIW. The owner/manager is who called me about not having my sister's information. She and her associate are old enought to be my Grandmother

This is also the salon who ordered my gown 3 sizes too big (IMO to make $$ off my alterations). It didnt arrive until AFTER my BM's got measured for their gowns and paid for them.

I confronted them in person about my gown and they had nothing to say. I regret the day I ever walked into that shop - all at the urging of my Matron of Honor - she used them and had no problems
