Last night, as FH and I were watching one of the million movie stations we have, I came to a very disturbing revelation - I LIKE LINDSAY LOHAN MOVIES!!! 'Mean Girls' was hilarious and I also liked 'Freaky Friday' too.

Don't ask me why. I don't particularly care for her presence in the media - shes a little over-exposed for my taste and her display of weight-loss is not a great example for young women with self-esteem and weight related issues, BUT, I like her acting skills.

All of this leads me to the 'Question of the Day'

What 'bad movie' or lame actor/actress can you NOT pull yourself away from? I am talking about movies and actors that will NEVER be nominated for ANYTHING more than an MTV movie award (if you can call that prestige)?

My answers:
JACKA$$ the Movie
Anchorman
Old School

I love those too and these:
Beavis and Butthead Do America
Office Space
That movie w/ Mena Suvari where the cheerleaders rob the bank!
Not Another Teen Movie
Half Baked

I also love Lindsey Lohan!!!

Re: A disturbing discovery and a QOTD.

I realized how much I liked Lindsay after Mean Girls and confessions of a teenage drama queen - she is a great actress and has great comdeic sense - I wouldn't have even seen anything of hers if it weren't for my future stepdaughter - she also got me into Raven on Disney - she is another great actress - like a young Lucille Ball...

LOVE Not another Teen movie
Anger management (otherwise I don't like Sandler...) That movie made me cry

Tommy Boy kills me every time
Slackers
Office Space
Scary Movie is really funny too...

Re: A disturbing discovery and a QOTD.

I also am apparently a huge Lindsay Lohan fan
I saw Mean Girls first and liked it a lot but I figured it was because of Tina Fey's involvement so I didn't confront my obsession until I recently saw Cpnfessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and couldn't tear myself away from that either!
In it's (and our) defense, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen is based on a great book for teenagers (I'm a librarian)

Re: A disturbing discovery and a QOTD.

If Half Baked is on- I have to watch it! Love that movie. It's the only copy that we have two of- one from when I lived alone and one from when FH lived alone.

Also, if I see that movie with Melissa Joan Hart where she is a cool girl and falls in love with the 'loser' then I have to watch it. What's the name of that movie?

Re: A disturbing discovery and a QOTD.

I LOVE PRINCESS BRIDE!!! I have the soundtrack and want the 1st song to play when I walk down the aisle - cheesy, right?

I know the entire movie by heart - line for line, which may make it annoying for anyone watching with me!!!
