I think it's OVERLY nice that you're paying NOT only for their dress but for their WHOLE look!!! Just keep searching and hopefully you'll agree on something!!!

Remember this is your day. If they were true friends they would understand and help you. Let a little time past and sit down and talk to them. Let them know how you are feeling. If they still don't understand then find new people. This should be a happy time and your bridal party should be your support and not your headache.

you are NOT a bridezilla!!!! at least not on this one tell them if they think you should wear something more high end then THEY Should pick cheaper dresses!

You have done nothing wrong! Your 'friends' are being real b!tches and I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I understand that it's your culture to pay for your BMs attire, but did they think for one second that if you weren't responsible for what they're wearing that you would have about $800 more for you gown budget?
