here's mine. When I tried it on at Macy's they gave me a full slip to put on with it. But the woman told me I would get a fuller slip to make it poofy. Yours looks bigger than mine.![]()
BTW Your dress is gorgeous!![]()
your's is gorgeous too....
her is a pic of me in the dress with the petticoat sewn in....
your dress definitely isn't aline, and I am going for less poof in than the model....call them and find out.
and PLEASE DON'T MIND HOW GROSS I LOOK!

Why do they charge so darn much for those things? It's a pain in the neck!

Re: Any bride wearing a ball gown
Stupid question - what's the difference between a slip and crinoline and a petticoat? This undergarment business is confusing me!Edited to clarify

Re: Any bride wearing a ball gown
I have to get a full one too. I tried my dress on w/ less full ones and did not like the way the dress hung. It pains me more to think about wearing all of this material in AUGUST!
My salon charges $100 for them. I don't know what size I am. I guess I would be a medium or small. Not sure...

in this petticoat, small is 24-27 inches, medium is 28-30 or 31 inches.
psf80- I have no idea what the difference is. crinoline and petticoat seem interchangeable to me.
like I said, I am willing to share with as many brides that needed, provided we are all not getting married on the same day

Re: Any bride wearing a ball gown
I don't think I'll need one, I feel the gown is full enough for me.

I would be a small. To be honest, I'm not sure of the differance either.

Re: Any bride wearing a ball gown
I would be more than happy to give you my slip, being that your wedding is after mine.BUT - it's not a full ball slip. It's a-line.
Maybe your seamstress can add in some crinoline.
Let me know.
Oh, it's a drawstring waist, so it fits Small-Large.
