Re: Any suggestions for 125 people on a Saturday night?
The Contessa Room at the Swan Club has a 100 minimumI thought that the carriage House at the Milleridge would have been tight for 125, but would have been good for 100 of less.
Stewart Manor Country Club told us they could do 120 for us.
Sans Souci also told us that they could do 120 - I think their minimum is 100 also.

Yeah, the carriage house max is 130, I think, so 125 is cutting it close. I had 85 & it was perfect.
Maybe try George Washignton Manor or The Thatched Cottage?

Nope, not the piano lounge. It's on the same floor though. Looks like the Penthouse Room, but smaller. I have pics from my reception (in that room) in my review on The Bride's Review Board.
BTW - my guarantee there was also 100. Good luck!

Yes, def. try the George Wahington Manor in Roslyn. I think their max capacity is around 150 so you should be safe with 125

We have a 100 person minimum, but the Larkfield has new owners so who knows if they'll do it again.

Re: Any suggestions for 125 people on a Saturday night?
I don't believe the Sheraton has outdoor space, but I would call and ask. I do know they have a bi-level suite for brides to get ready and also a jr. suite.Because you having a smaller wedding (by LI standards, anyway) you actually have access to a lot more places than the standard catering hall. You can consider renting out an entire restaurant on the water, or maybe a vineyard.
You can look into Chateau Briand, I think their minimum for a room is 100, we were thinking only 75 and they were going to give us half the restaurant on the main floor.
The Oak Room in Jericho Terrace is where we're having our reception also!!! We only guaranteed 75 on a Sunday night, I think you can guarantee 100 on a Saturday. It's the room on the main floor with the murals on the walls. There's no picture of it on the website, unfortunately.

Re: Any suggestions for 125 people on a Saturday night?
We were told 120 but upon booking made sure that the min was 100 just in case. We are having a small wedding by Long Island comparison and probably will have 110-120 there. They had no problems at The Riviera.

I don't know for sure, but I went to a smaller wedding at the Metropolitan in Glen Cove, but it was during a less desirable month than September.

Re: Any suggestions for 125 people on a Saturday night?
I second the Riviera! For the dates I was looking at (May-June) their minimums were based on day, date and afternoon vs. evening and as I recall, were all in the 90-130 range (maybe a little higher for Sat. nights in June). Plus they have a gorgeous outdoor area.Welcome New Vendors
