I was getting a little worried when I read this, b/c I'm using your original photographer! He's been so great to work with but I totally understand your reasoning for cancelling with him. I'm glad you didn't cancel b/c he s u cked or something! Whew!!

But to answer the original question, I'd cancel any vendor with whom I didn't feel comfortable. You're paying for their services, and you deserve to get what you want - especially in something like photography, which will be around for a long time!

Oh are you talking about Aaron?? .. no no Aaron is still shooting the wedding.. he is the secondary photographer now. Aaron is very talented.. :) I booked him on the spot..

The guy I canceled with does backup photography for a studio out on long island.
