Here too. Since we are getting married on July 4th we are going to donate to a Veterans organization or make up goodie-boxes for the soldieers in Iraq.
My students just participated in Operation shoebox so we might so that or the VA hospital in Northport since we live so close.

I'm thinking of donating all of my centerpieces to a hospital as well. When my Dad was in the hospital for 11 days as a result of a stroke he received a lot of gifts and company but there are so many elderly people who don't. I think a donated centerpiece would delight an elderly patient especially one whose family isn't visiting often.
