I know what you mean. My FI and I just started looking for a house and I really dont want to do any more wedding planning. I want to start on our life together. I just keep thinking its less than 9 months more of planning.

Totally with you - I've got 5 months to go and I'm TIRED of thinking of new and creative ways to make this wedding different without going over budget. And I'm tired of dieting for God's sake. I've lost 12 lbs so far but need to lose another 20lbs and today (I guess because it's been so cold) all I want to do is have a grilled cheese sandwich or pancakes with bacon and Micky D's (I actually had Micky D's last night - what is wrong with me!!??)

ME!!! i say it all the time. i loved the beginning but now i just wish everything was done with so it could be here already!

I LOVE planning my wedding. But sometimes I wish there just a few less things on my to-do list!!

Karen - I've been going to WW for the past year but been pretty lax over the holidays - I'm going next Saturday (this coming Saturday I'm looking for BM dresses - yippee). I've been going to the gym 3 days a week but the way I've been eating lately, I'm just maintaining, not losing..ARRRGGH!!

So glad to see there are other soon to be brides feeling the same way I do! I've spoken to other people who have told me they loved every minute of planning their wedding, and I've been feeling like something was wrong with me for just wanting everything done! THANKS ladies for making me feel more like a normal bride!

I feel that way all the time!! I started to get excited about planning again when they told me my dress came in and I made a few calls and got the ball rolling again and now I'm ok (for now)!

I go in and out of being excited and totally blase about everything. When I first got engaged (Sept. 03) I hauled ass to get the big things done Now that they're done I've been trying to take some time off from wedding planning. My fiance and I also have a house to renovate and furnish, so that's more of my focus. In a couple of months I'll start doing favors and invitations, but for the time being, I'm on a vacation from wedding stress.

Yes, I am not a big fan of the planning, I had vacation for the holidays, and everyone at work asked me if I did wedding related things and i said 'NO' , i finally cleaned my house...lol,....and what i should have said, was.....'well thanks a lot for making it more stressful by not answering the resposne card yet.....) (noone from work responded, how rude)

I am realllllyyyy sick.. So sick that i said in front of FH and my mother 'IS IT TOO LATE TO CANCEL THE WEDDING WITH 43 DAYS TO GO?' of course joking, but FH turned around and said i would have killed him if he said that.. And i explained it is not that i want to cancel our marriage, I still want to get married on the same day and all, but can we just cancel the planning? Can we just call everyone and tell them nevermind and fly to Aruba and just get married there or Vegas for that matter. I would even be willing to have an Elvis marry us.... don't get me wrong, i am very excited but i obssess over things and i am obsessing over my wedding. it is stressful. and of course i want a beautiful day but i am sick of it!
