FH and I wanted a spring wedding... April prices were slightly lower than May & June everywhere we looked, but Memorial Day Weekend was perfect, because it gave my family (all OOTers) an extra day off, so we splurged. April was definitely less than May at the Fox Hollow - we checked them out and I remember that so you should ask them, but they may not have any dates left at this point.

i originally wanted May 28..Friday night Memorial day weekend..all the places wanted at least double, triple and a high Max..We went with the last weekend in April and saved ourselves SO much money $$$
Even the first weekend in May was a lot like $30 more just because May is a top month along with any summer months and then it settles in October :)

At the Swan Club I was quoted the same price for May and September, but I booked my hall well over a year ago since my original wedding date was May 8, 2005, then Sept 18, 2005 and now May 7, 2006. With tax and service charge I am paying about $75.00 per person.

I had wanted May or June due to of course some warmer weather. When it came down to it, my hall was booked for May and all they had in June was the 18th. Then we asked, hey end of April and the difference was about $10 a head. That helped in our decision and even though we cant be promised a nice day...it was better to have more money in our pocket.
Also, the 17th of June is my 30th b-day and I didnt want an aniversary so close to my b-day.
Plus, I have about 10 b-days in JUNE! Id be broke.

I found that pre-memorial day is the best way to go. The prices were defintely cheaper. Having the wedding on a Friday or Sunday should be a consideration as well. You will save a ton of $$$$$. Think about the beginning of May. The weather is just starting to get really nice, the flowers are blooming.

I wanted a Saturday evening in May, June or September, so the prices weren't that different at all. The price difference depended on the day and time.
There seems to be negotiation room on the dates between November and April.

they gave us a good price for April because it was the off season..
