I'm not really too concerned with it... I'm watching what I eat, but I'm more concerned at looking good for the honeymoon. FMIL is telling me to stop losing weight, but I'm not doing anything different... I haven't gone to the gym in over 2 months... we just got a dog, so he's keeping me active. So if anyone wants to shed a couple of pounds and enjoy the companionship of another, I say adopt a puppy

I actually fattened FH up since I met him...he's 6' 2 or 3' and was only like 150....now he's up to 170 and looks goooooood!!

I am definitely concerned with my weight for the wedding!!! It doesn't help that I come from such a 'skinny' obsessed family! For example, every time I talk to my dad he asks, 'How is your diet going?' Excuse me, I did not know I was on one!!! FH thinks I look fine!!

I would like to tone up all over, but since I ordered my gown and it came in a little big, I don't want to lose too much weight and have crazy alterations made. I will just work on toning and being healthy

i am a plus sized gal and really proud of who i am - i have been loosing weight lately but it isnt because i am dieting - we have a new puppy and the daily runs have really started to shed a couple of lbs
not on purpose mind you but i am the only one around to walk it during the day
puppies are too fun
i wouldnt worry too much about loosing weight - if you love you and your fh loves you why add something else to the stress?

why not just be happy ?

I have ten weeks, I am trying to be better about how I eat and going to the gym! The eating part is so hard with the holidays!

I've already lost 45 pounds and I'm now a size 8, but I still want to lose 5 more pounds. I don't want to lose the weight for the wedding, I just want to reach my goal of losing 50 pounds!!!

I am very concerned with dropping weight before the wedding - I go very back and forth. We have both put on weight and I know that FI loves me just the way I am - and i know that I will look beautiful on my wedding day - but you know what - I want to do it for me!!!

I am not concerned about losing weight at all before the wedding. I am happy at the weight I am, the only thing I will be working on is toning my tushy !!! That is the only thing that bothers me. I gained weight once a while back and was very unhappy with myself, so I promised myself to change my eating lifestyle and it has worked. I have maintained a good weight for my height over the past year !!!

I'd like to lose a bit, maybe 10 lbs or so. Mostly I've been working on toning my arms and shoulders since I'll be wearing a strapless dress.
I've put so much time, effort and $ into this day, I owe it to myself to look my best.

I've lost weight and he's gain some (thank GOD) the man was just so thin. Lets put it this way. I accidently grab HIS dockers one day instead of mine in a rush ... and they FIT!!!!!!!! The only thing was.. they were snug on the hips.. SNUG ON THE HIPS?????

I started shoving stuff down his throat. I told him there was no way a man of mine would have smaller hips than me!

That has no been resolved, but he's motablism is so darned high it's a battle. He actually warms up after eating and you can feel the heat coming off as his body digests the foods. Freak. God I love him.. hehe

I just hope that everyone who is dieting or trying to get fit for their wedding, continues to keep fit AFTER their wedding!!!!

It should be a lifestyle change, not a change for better wedding pictures!

Luckily I am in shape and always try to stay that way. Good luck to all of you who set fitness goals!

I decided to lose weight the day before he proposed-I had a written out plan and everything. I made the decision mostly because I felt sluggish.

I'm glad I lost it, I'm so energetic now! But everyone thinks I'm doing it for the wedding...

i dotn consider it dieting i consider it wating very healthy until the big day. I am just cutting out the things that make me gain weight easily.. sugar and carbs. Im just cutting down.

I am not going crazy about it. I try to eat well and exercise and I'm not going to obsess over it. Every time I've tried to diet in the past it always ended up backfiring anyway.
