Not sending them...we've been engaged since July '05 so hopefully everyone knows the wedding date by now...and if some people don't come, that would be great since our guestlist is already way over what the reception hall can accommodate.

I made mine on postcard paper. It's cheaper to send postcards than envelopes. (only $.24)

We did. We made them ourselves. We only sent them to people out of town and to friends of ours that we knew would be staying in the hotel that we reserved. We sent the hotel info with it so they could block the room off early.

i didnt send out any
my wedding is on a saturday in January so i figured its not a 'hot' time for anyone
our only OOT guests are one family from Florida and my entire family from Italy - so we just called them right away ( like the day we booked the hall) and let them know. . .

I am glad we didnt spend the money BUT i have my friend's STD up at work and its so cute that people ask about it - so i kind of wish i could put mine up too! lol maybe i will make ONE! j/k

We did because my mother's cousin son is getting married the day before me and everyone keeps calling my mom and asking what the date is. So I sent them out yesterday

yup but we just did it over email. make sure you send in small groups of less than 100 or your guests email programs may spam your email!!! happened to us

We made them ourselves on magnet paper (pics in DIY ablum) just sent them out on Wed.

total cost about $65 for 100 including magnet paper, card stock & envelopes.

Thanks everyone for your responses! i think i'm leaning towards not sending them... we can always send out the invitations a little earlier...and we need some 'no' responses anyway lol & yes i agree with what what said above... too lazy... & too many other things to do haha. I still may change my mind though.
