I wore my real set on the HM - pool, beach, etc... it was fine.

I am wearing the real set. I mean, I never wear any jewelry to the pool or beach, so during those times they will be in the safe in our hotel room. I wouldn't want to wear them the day after our wedding and then not wear them again for a whole week!!!

Just wear em...you will be fine! Are they tight? I have big knuckles so there is no chance of mine ever coming off. We were in the water, snorkeling, in waterfalls...and were fine. I honestly would have been very sad without mine.

PS - One of the couples we met had a fake claires one and she seemed alittle sad when me and the other girls were checking eachothers out.

And another PS - I never took mine off the whole time...kept it on all the time. I did get suntan lotion all over it, but that is why I brought jewerly cleaner!

i never travel with good stuff and wont want to wear them with the water activities. i wont enjoy myself if i have to worry about it.

I'm wearing the real set... Thats what insurance is for (don't get me wrong, i'd be devistated to lose them, but i also don't want to be with out them).

I'm not, however, going to anywhere where i'd be swimming/scuba/snorkeling, etc. That could make a difference for some people.

ditto, i brought mine on my HM but i also didnt go to an island where we'd be in the water alot so i didnt have to worry about this. Actually we didnt go in any water lol

same here, i know ppl who have had stuff stolen out of their safe in the hotel room. I got engaged on a cruise, and even though we stopped at islands and went in the water, i didnt care i wasnt leaving it in a safe.

they are fine now..because my fingers swell in the summer..but im just worried about the water..This vacay is a beach so I will be in the water a great deal of the time
