just wanted to chime in and add my support for Bellarino. im sure you couldnt go wrong with them or Wild Rose - but maybe you should check out both and see for yourself!?

I live in the Bronx and took the trip out to see Wild Rose... It was definitely worth the trip.

I think choosing a videographer depends on what you want the finished product to look like. I wanted something really different and knew after I saw their work as well as thier laid back, wonderful personalities, that they were the people for me.

I don't think that they were that expensive. We ended up getting the Pink rose package and adding some additional things to the package.

I too never got a call back from videomaker met with wild rose, bellarino and others but wild rose and bellarino were my favorites, it came down to price in the end so i went with bellarino.

Hi girls, I met with Wild Rose....they are really great, very nice, genuine people. They had some beautiful pieces! I haven't made it official but I think they we are going to book them. We were really bummed about the whole videomaker thing, but now I am pretty happy I think my video is going to be great and a hundred times better than it would have been it videojerk would have actually shown up at my wedding and shot it.
Thanks for the advice girls, just tought you might like to know what we've decided.

Hey Cippyloo - I was going to forum e-mail you. We didn't end up going b/c a friends husband had to go to the ER and we spent the night with her so we were in no shape to go. Marie was so understaning about it. Happy to hear you loved them. We are hoping to reschedule for sometime after the holidays.

Hi fletch, sorry to hear about you friend, I hope everything is OK.
After the holidays sounds good to me, this time of year can be really crazy. I think you will like them..they are very nice. From the begining I have beem trying to cut the budget where ever I could but it has become very clear that in most cases you get what you pay for and wild rose may be a little more expensive but they showed us some great stuff. So I am giving up trying to save money...it's really not a deal if you are not happy with the end result. Have a happy holiday!

You are so right. We have tried to save where we can but it has pretty much become impossible. Glad to hear you loved them and like the photographer you want to spend a little more money b/c the video and photos will be what you have left. It would have been nice to meet you had we made it but maybe at one of the LIWeddings get togethers. Happy Hoidays to you too!!

We used Lawrence Photography. They will give you raw footage of your video w/ timecode so that you can pick scenes that you will want included in your final video. Their site and # is lawrencephotography and 718-631-1021.

we met with both wild rose & bellarino. the finished product from each videographer were very different in terms of style. i would recommend meeting with both since all the ladies here are so supportive of them! they are both reliable companies and both phil & marie are very nice & accomodating. prices are quite different as well as equipment too.
