I only saw the first and part of this one...but IMHO she was in lust with the pretty boy...she didn't care that he hadn't finished school...had no job...was living with his parents?? at 26 he should at least have a job...and not label himself a 'writer' b/c he he's a bum

I can't believe she picked Jason. If they are going to do another Average Joe they need to pick a less shallow female Come on, Jason was a total moron. He could barely string two sentences together. What self respecting woman would pick an unemployed adult living at home with his parents who has no personality over Adam????? I wanted to throw something at the television when Jason and Melena were at 'his' house and she was talking about how nice 'his' house was. Hello, he doesn't have a house.

She is going to be so disappointed when he stops pumping her with alcohol and she realizes what a boob he is.

Poor Adam! He was so great!!!!,
I just saw them (Malena and Jason) on the todays show and they had Adam on the phone!
He was so gracious and said he wished them the best and even said after watching the show, he could tell that they had better chemistry!
He said he is now dating someone special and is very happy...

Obviously, things work out for the best!

I felt SOO bad for Adam. What got me ticked off at the end was that she didn't even seem upset to give Adam the boot. She wasn't crying, she almost looked like 'haha you lose'. I mean all she said was 'we had a romance and now it has to end'. Gee - that's nice. And after she put Jason on the plane she turned around and looked like 'omg what a hottie!!!' which I thought to myself 'Yes so you went for the pretty boy, have some nice romps in the hay now because it may not last much longer than your trip!'

But to be fair - I think she thought she might never be sexually attracted to Adam. I think if she gave it time, she could - but she also probably didn't want to pick him and then find out it still wouldn't work and break it off in the end which might hurt more. I think that she figured that if she and Jason didn't work out he wasn't going to be *that* broken up over it. So maybe in the end it did work out for the best. ??

I hope Adam is very happy!

While I had hoped she would choose Adam...I knew she'd choose Jason. I really liked Adam - I thought he was sweet and generous and intelligent...whereas Jason seemed like an airhead and not there for the 'right' reasons.

Side note - did anyone else notice that Malena wore the same jeans on EVERY date?!

I was glued to the TV. I picked wrong. I really thought that she would pick Adam. I am glad to hear that he is datinf someone and is happy. Did you all see the coming attractions for the new Average Joe in Hawaii? I will probably be glued to the TV for that one too. I am such a nerd!

Yes the second Joe Millionaire looks stupid, and exactly the same as the first one...but I will watch it. It was filmed the same time joe millionaire 1 was filmed, so that could be why it is exactly the same.

I thought the whole time that Melana was going to pick Adam...up until Danielle tells me that She has more Chemistry with Jason...I didnt want to believe it, but it was true.

What also gave it away to me was when they were in her bedroom and she said...Put a tack on Kansas city...and he said I have never been there...and she says something like one day you will be.....That gave it away right there.

I was praying for Adam though. I really was hoping she would pick him. She did pick the guy she had more feelings for, and I am happy that she did that....

Danielle heard on z100 yesterday that Melana was spotted in the City flirting with a whole bunch of men or something....I dont know if its true or not, but I bet she is no longer with the unemployed fool named Jason.

I really love how she talked down to him when they were in the restaurant and he said he was going to lower her inhibitions....

What kind of an idiot orders 4 drinks? Did you notice he drank his second drink, but she never drank hers...

Looks like Jason's mommy and daddy are pretty well off.

Is it just me or did Adam not no how to talk- he always mumbled when he talked and those big teeth...sorry, he was just a little too dorky and overly sweet to her. I thought Jason was really good-looking and sincere. Yeh, he lives with his parents but hey he is trying to get his life on track. I think in all honesty neither one was an Average Joe....

I did feel badly for Adam but hey, what are you gonna do - the guy is a millionaire I am sure he can find a girl in Manhattan. He seemed nice but I didnt think there was any chemistry bw them. He did take it like a good sport.

ETA: I really also think she went with her gut- you cant force sexual attraction even if the guy is nice to you. I think she genuinely liked both guys personalities but was more sexually into Jason.

I thought she was going to pick adam even up until the first sentence she said to Jayson, something like sorry I couldnt open up back to you? I dont know, by his face I think he thought he was gone too.

I got DH to watch the first hour lol then he went to watch football, he said she seems like she has more fun with him(ADAM) which she did to me too.

When I told him she picked the hunk he was like oh see so she did go for looks! but Jayson does seem like a nice guy just seems a little dumb and she did seem more physically attracted to him.

And I wonder too, why does Adam not shave anymore? LOL

I was so pissed last night! Clearly, she was only looking for sexual attraction in her man - and nothing else.

I was so stunned when she picked Jason - what in the world do they have in common? Neither one has a career/moved out of his parent's house yet? Maybe she wasn't looking for someone so seriously yet.

I felt so bad for Adam - but I would actually think since he plugged his bar last night, that many women will head over there trying to find him! He was so sweet to do all those things for her - give her those gifts, write that poem, and the drink names on the menu! Ugh - she doesn't deserve him!!!

I agree that he took the high road last night, but I still felt so bad for Adam because he was obviously CRUSHED! On TV no less....but I agree that he deserves better and since this show as aired I'm sure girls will be knocking on his door. If I were still single I would be!
