Barrons? Tri-county?

Ok, I am not a Long Island girl but I hear so much from you girls about these two places. What are they ?? Also, where are the located? I have started to search for a veil and headpiece so are these two good places to go ?

Its on Hempstead Turnpike... its a big indoor flea market type place. Jewelry on the top floor and all different little booths on the first floor. Barrons is located in Tri County and they custom make veils and headpieces very reasonably.

it is sooo worth the trip...went to my bridal salon the other day, tried on a veil & comb with my dress and loved it.

they wanted $350 for veil and $200 for little comb.

I went to Barrons...told him the exact lenght, cut, color, etc...he quoted me between $35-55 and his similar combs were $50...

I highly recommend checking it out...

honestly, I am from queens and I went to Barrons and it was smaller than I expected. They have nice stuff but it wasnt worth the travel for me because there are two places in queens that offered to custom make my viels for less than whay Barrons offered me, so price wise it wasnt that great for me. They did have nice tiaras though.

I went last night and I havent been able to find places that can beat their prices. I ordered a veil that cost me $45. I looked at headpeices (ones I liked were around $100-$150) and combs (around $50-$60) and I'll probably wind up with the comb with how I want my hair.

I think I'm going to Barrons today to get some ideas and also check out the prices compared to what I was told at the store where I got my dress. I will let you girls know what I find out.

I went to Barrons and got a quote for a veil and a headpiece. The veil was fingertip length, two tiered, with Swarovski crystals at the bottom of each tier and the headpiece was all crystals, about an inch high at its highest point. He said the veil would be $165 and the headpiece was $120. The guy was AMAZING. He told me to come back with pictures of my dress so he could make sure everything matched perfectly. He really knew what he was talking about and wasn't pushing or anything. I'm definately going to get my stuff there.
