Re: Beach Items

For the kids I think I am setting them up their own table. My son is 7, so I am allowing children at the wedding. I am going to set their table up with all kinds of beach toys. This way they don't get bored and they get to take things home too!!

I am using the Adirondack Chair Placecard holders, but not the one that is posted here, the one that is a picture frame, so they can use it again

Believe it or not-- this is what my mom sisters and i created, see if you can picture it. We bought glass votive holders, used spray glue on them, and then rolled the votives in sand. We then hot glued seashells along the bottom of the votive. We inserted a scented candle inside, wrapped it in tulle and punched a hole through one of the placecards. We attached the place cards on the wrapped votive holder.
What do you think? They take a while to make though, but SOOO inexpensive.

That sounds so cute! Good idea... I am trying to make a Sand Castle Card box - did that glue make the sand stay on? I'm not sure how I wanted to make mine and make the sand stay, but your idea sounds great

How are you going to write on them? With what kind of marker? Please see my thread of Beach Favors - I want to do Sand Dollar ornaments. I bought 120 of them for .89 cents each!!!
