Re: Updated questions re: Bellmore vs. North Bellmore

We're not looking in either town, but as far as snob factor goes, I think many towns on LI suffer from this. I grew up on the North Shore of LI and attended school with mostly snobs, and that was quite some time ago!

Then again, I'd rather send my kids to excellent schools with snobby kids than crappy schools with gangs, drugs, no staff whatsoever, etc. but then again, anything can happen anywhere, at any time.....

Re: Bellmore vs. North Bellmore

Where in N.bellmore? I have been living here since I was 3 yrs old, and am a product of the schools, I got an excellent education and have normal friends. I went straight onto a 4 yr.college got my bach. degree and then straight onto graduate school , and got a Masters degree. I live in a wide line high ranch, in N.Bellmore, S.Bellmore is very snobby, and Bellmore is more working class, N.Bellmore where I am is a lot of people that own there own businesses, and very eduacted people. Hey, there is a house for sale across the street from me, it just went up for sale ysterday,Fm mail me if you want the info. I hope this helped.

Re: Bellmore vs. North Bellmore

From alsogrowing up there.. I went to Norht Bellmore and Blmmore/Merrick School(that’s the middle/high school district). North Bellmore is more affordable that So.Bellmore. And I feeel that it is very conjected between Sunrise Hwy and Merrick Rd in Bellmore. I grew up in North Bellmkore and loved it.. There are parts of North Merrick that goes to No.Bellmore schools in teh PArk Ave to Jerusalem Ave..
