Thanks girls!! For those of you that recommend I check out specific designers in my price range (vs focusing on shops) - can you tell me which designers are in my price range?? I don't have a handle on this right now. Also, are there designers that deliver more quickly than others??

Demetrios and Maggie Sottero are both great designers and great prices. Once you find the dress you love, check around at different shops for different prices. I saved $300 on my Maggie by calling around. Good luck!

I got mine at lynbrook bridal, $500 cheaper than Elegant Bride in Albertson...ask for Carmela

Another nod for RK Bridal - I tried dresses on at RK Bridal and at other bridal salons. I saw the same exact dresses at RK Bridal for $300-$500 less than at other places.

Mine would be a third nod for RK Bridal. I love them. I looked at other places, named above and noticed the mark up on dresses on the island was ridiculious. A dress out here was 2,100 at Rk would have been 1,500. I liked RK bridal and have had nothing but an amazing experience thus far.

I quadruple RK Bridal. They are great!!!
